Clifford Cobb, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. At present, he is a senior researcher of the Sino American Post Modern Development Institute of Claremont Graduate University. Famous ecological economist and expert in sustainable development. Former chairman of the shokenbach foundation. His major works include green GDP,;Henry George's philosophy and Economics on the road to justice; open schools, renewed communities; a communitarian plan for systematic education reform, etc.
Clifford Cobb is one of the first proponents of the concept of green CDP in the western world. In 1995, he served as a member of President Clinton's Sustainable Development Committee. In 1999, at the invitation of the Danish government, it helped to draft the social development report submitted by the Danish government to the United Nations. In 2004, he was named one of the "thinkers of the 20th century". He was selected in parallel with the author of silent spring.
Clifford Cobb has visited China well for many times and was invited to give speeches in the Central Compilation Bureau, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Beijing Normal University, Wuhan University, Zhongshan University, Nanjing University, etc.
