On the morning of June 28, 2019, a delegation of 17 people from the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, led by Professor Wende Fan, vice president of the Academy, came to Dalian to participate in the 7th International Forum of socialism and paid a visit to the school of Marxism. Professor Xiaonan Hong, Dean of Marxism college, introduced the construction and development of Marxism college to Vietnam social science colleagues, especially the experience and practice of the Communist Party of China and the government attaching great importance to the development of philosophy and Social Sciences in recent years and constantly strengthening the guiding position of Marxism. Professor Wende Fan said that China's experience is a good reference for the development of philosophy and Social Sciences in Vietnam. They should study hard to promote the continuous development and progress of Social Sciences in Vietnam. The two sides also reached consensus on future cooperation and exchanges. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of Dalian University of technology. Under the leadership of President Xiaonan Hong, the Vietnam delegation visited the newly established history museum of Dalian University of technology. From the precious brocade left by Vietnamese students during the period of Dalian University of technology to the positive contribution of DUTers to the development of the country, Professor Wende Fan and his delegation expressed their sincere admiration for the 70 year development achievements of Dalian University of technology and wish for the 70th anniversary of the founding of Dalian University of Technology . Walking in the green campus, every member of the Vietnamese delegation gave full affirmation to the development of China today. They believed that the great success of socialism in China proved that socialism has strong vitality.China's socialist construction and development also provide useful reference for other countries in the world to carry out socialist construction, pointing out the development direction of the world's socialism in the 21st century, and making them full of confidence in the future of the socialist cause.

The delegation of the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences was invited to Dalian by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences and the Lao National Academy of social sciences. The organizer was the Seventh International Forum of socialism of our college. This conference attracted more than 100 scholars from China, Vietnam, Laos, North Korea and other countries, The meeting reached broad consensus, promoted exchanges and cooperation among social science workers of participating countries, and achieved a series of positive results.
