Lecturer: Roland Boer
Professor Roland Boer is a Ph.D. of McGill University in Canada. He is now a research professor of the school of Humanities and social sciences of Newcastle University in Australia and a distinguished professor of "overseas talents" of Renmin University of China. Professor Boer is one of the most creative Marxist researchers of the time.
The representative works arecritique of heaven: on Marxism and theology,critique of Religion:On Marxism and Theology(three volumes),Marxist biblical criticism,knocking on the door to heaven: Bible and popular culture, etc. Due to its novel perspective, the series has been translated into Danish, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Chinese. In addition, Professor Boer has published more than 300 articles, chapters or encyclopedia entries, and has been invited to give lectures in many universities in China.
